Premarital counseling is a type of therapy that helps couples prepare for marriage. Premarital counseling can help ensure that you and your partner have a strong, healthy relationship — giving you a better chance for a stable and satisfying marriage. This kind of counseling can also help you identify weaknesses that could become problems during marriage.

My pre-marital counseling approach is based on the Building a Lasting Connection program® (Developed by Dr. Rebecca Jorgensen & Dr. Debi Gilmore). In this method, we work on the relationship pyramid which includes 5 important elements in relationships such as:

  • Attachment—The Universal Need for Connection

  • Communicating for Connection

  • Managing Differences

  • Physical Connection

  • Shared Goals-–Building Traditions and Rituals
